Two hatched yesterday and one today. We seem to have a further nest with 4 fertile eggs and the green hen has laid her second egg of this clutch so fingers crossed for that one. Unfortunately, we are moving house in 4 weeks so I will have to move young chicks. It's only a five minute drive to the new house from the old so hopefully the birds will not be too rattled.
You never lose the thrill on hearing that peep, peep of the new born chicks and of seeing them for the first time. It is exciting.
