Great thrill today - the green hen has hatched an egg. I am so pleased. I thought this pair would never be successful. She has one egg left to hatch or it may be two depending on whether today's egg is a day late or on time. This is a picture I am delighted to show.

At just over one week, the chicks' growth rate is impressive.

And a two weeks coming on to their third, these little guys will have left the nest by next week.
